in the beginning

...We all gotta start somewhere

"Monica" came to me through the generosity of Will and Alison Alexander.  While she is by no means conformationally the "best" beagle I ever had, she taught me so much about my new breed!  Moni attended the NBC Specialty with her breeders in 1997 in Aldie, VA where she won her 15" 12-18 month bitch class.  Monica was bred once and in that litter produced the National class winners and Best Puppy in Show winners,

Ch TraJam How D'Ya Like Me Now

Ch TraJam Coldwater Pipin Hot

as well as the Wisconsin Beagle Club Winners Bitch,

Ch TraJam Kotcha Peekin

Monica's final ring appearance was at the 2004 NBC Specialty where she was awarded BOS to Best in Veteran Sweeps at the supporting Specialty under Eddie Dzuik.

"Rachel" was a full sister to Monica so when the opportunity came for her to join our pack we were very grateful.  Rachel had a successful show career in the USA and was residing with Sharon and Aaron Wilkerson in Texas.

Arrangements were made and Rachel came to join us where she would be bred to the handsome Ch Lanbur One Man Show.  This was the first dabble into the current path the TraJam beagles are on!

That litter produced,

Ch Longhorn TraJam Shockin' Y'All

Ch TraJam Longhorn Shameless (aka the Fabulous Phoebe) who not only was my introduction to blues but would become the mother of multiple Best in Show winners as well as Westminster Kennel Club winners!

Rachel took her last spin around the ring at the 2004 NBC Specialty where she was the 13" Veteran female winner.

I mean who can resist a pretty red head!

The arrival of

Bayou Oaks Pepperoni

from Alyce Gilmore set the path for the current look of the TraJam beagles.  There is not a dog born here that doesn't go back to this pretty girl.

Super stylish, beautiful soft head with dark eyes that would reach your soul... "Pepper" was everything I could ask for!

Her lack of title was not for a  lack of quality!

She HATED the ring and would remind her handler of that if we dared to enter her in a show!

Bred to MBIS MBISS GCH Windkist A Walk In The Park she produced puppies that would change the game for us and put us on the world stage,

Ch TraJAm Who's Yur Daddy

Ch TraJam Almost Famous

Through her grandson, BISS GCH TraJam the Tourist, our Pepper appears in pedigrees all over the world.

She was taken from us in 2018 in her 15th year.
